Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the My Pet Defender app can request deletion of their account and associated app data.

1. How to delete your account

If you have access to the app, you can request account deletion directly inside My Pet Defender by opening the app settings and choosing Delete account.

Before deleting an account or data, we may need to verify that you are the account owner or that you are authorized to make the request. This helps prevent unauthorized deletion of accounts, family profiles, pet images, and purchase-related records.

Some information may be retained when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, payment validation, or enforcement of our terms.

This may include limited technical logs, security records, support records, and transaction or subscription records received from Google Play or Apple App Store. Where retention is required, we keep the data only for as long as reasonably necessary or as required by applicable law.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Deleting your My Pet Defender account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions managed by Google Play or Apple App Store. To avoid future charges, you should also cancel any active subscription through the store account used to purchase it.

6. Children and family accounts

Child accounts can only be managed by a parent or guardian account holder. A parent or guardian may request deletion of a child profile and associated child app data by using the in-app controls or by contacting us at hello@integraldot.com.

7. Processing time

We will review and process deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the request. Some deleted data may remain temporarily in backups or logs before being permanently removed according to our retention and backup procedures.
